Basketball Teams

 

Our teams compete in AAU, USA Basketball, Jr. NBA, and YBOA events.   We focus on player development, championship basketball play, and exposure. Currently, our program serves boys and girls grades K - 11th.  

 

How are our Academy teams different from other AAU clubs?

1. ​​​​Player Development:  All players receive strength, speed & agility, mental skills, and basketball skills training as part of the AAU program.  We have helped many players receive basketball scholarships and pro basketball contracts!

2. Experienced Coaches:  Our coaches have 2 years or more of coaching or playing experience on levels ranging from high school to the NBA

3. Credibility: We are an affiliate of the Jr. NBA and have a partnerships with various recreation departments.

4. Organization:  We are a real organization not a fly by night club and we merged with the Annandale Boys & Girls Club to form one of the strongest AAU clubs in DC, MD, and VA!

5. We Care:  We are in this for the children not for ourselves.

6. Great Price Incentive:  The combined individual cost for basketball skills training, strength training, speed/agility training, uniforms, and AAU team fees would be over $3500 for a child during a season. Hoop Life has unique parnterships and offers all the trainings, uniforms, team fees for only $400 - $839 per season.  We offer financial assistance.  We ensure every child can participate regardless of their financial status.
